Mexican Lemonade

I thought I’d share my newest favorite daily drink. I’ve named it Mexican Lemonade and it’s really refreshing.

Lemon juice
Agave nectar (or your sweetener of choice)
Cayenne pepper

Here’s the benefits:
1. Lemons are acidic to the taste but leaves off alkaline resides in the body. Sickness hates alkaline.
2. Contains vitamin A and C and more potassium than apples or grapes
3. It helps in digestion, and to ease coughing
4. Taken on an empty stomach early in the morning with water and honey (or agave) it cleanses the body well.
5. Restrains influenza, malaria, and cold
6. Natural fever reliever

1. Used worldwide to treat such conditions as circulatory problems, weak digestion, heart disease, chronic pain, sore throats, headache, toothache, gas, and other digestive ailments. When taken internally cayenne soothes the digestive tract and stimulates the flow of stomach secretions and saliva which help digest food.

Organic Agave Nectar:
1. Favorable glycemic profile (aka, won’t make your blood sugar rise and crash like sugar)
2. Does not stimulate the production of insulin
